Stroke hits suddenly, without warning. It can leave the whole family dazed and confused. Once speech therapy has expired, families are left with a lot of questions and no one to answer them. I always tell people to ask as many questions as you can while still in speech therapy. But if you still have questions, there are folks WHO CAN HELP.

As some of you may have heard, we had twin girls last year. My wife, Terri, is pregnant again and due next month. In honor of that, I thought the following might be in order:

Daddy Love

One night a wife found her husband standing over their baby's crib. Silently she watched him.

As he stood looking down at the sleeping infant, she saw on

his face a mixture of emotions: disbelief, doubt, skepticism.

Touched by this unusual display and the deep emotions it

aroused, with eyes glistening she slipped her arm around her husband.

"A penny for your thoughts," she said.

"It's amazing!" he replied. "I just can't see how anybody can

make a crib like that for only $46.50."
